Wayne Sleep is a renowned British dancer, choreographer, and actor, celebrated for his versatility and exceptional talent in ballet and contemporary dance. Born in 1948, Sleep joined the Royal Ballet in 1966 and quickly rose to prominence, becoming the company’s shortest male principal dancer. 

Known for his remarkable technique, speed, and dynamic stage presence, he has performed iconic roles and worked with notable choreographers like Kenneth MacMillan and Frederick Ashton. 

Beyond ballet, Sleep has appeared in musical theatre, television, and film, demonstrating his wide-ranging abilities as well as offering summer school workshops with Stage School Marbella since the early 90's. A passionate advocate for dance education, he continues to inspire new generations of performers through teaching and mentoring. 

In recent years Wayne has appeared on popular Reality television shows, includidng the ITV show "I'm a Celebrity get me out of here" and "The Real Marygold Hotel" on BBC 1.
